The First International Conference on “NanoMaterials and Sustainable Applications” (NANO-SA-2020) is organized by the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai-Marathwada Campus, Jalna, India by virtual mode (Zoom webinar) on 2nd and 3rd December 2020. NANO-SA-2020 aims to attract researchers from across the world to communicate and share the latest developments and applications of nanomaterials in the developing and ever-expanding fields like energy conversion (Fuel cells & Hydrogen), noncatalyzed organic transformations, carbon capture, storage, and conversion (CO2 sequestration), environmental remediation and sustainable applications (viz. organic methodologies).
World energy demand ever increases day by day due to fast growing population and consumption of fossil fuels. To overcome the energy crisis, production and development of nanomaterials for energy is need for the new world. Sustainability, environment, and profitability always take care of while designing any kind of catalytic nanomaterial in the view of future perspective. The use of nanotechnology to develop a nanomaterial for sustainable energy production schemes is one of the most important scientific challenges of the 21st century. The challenge is to design, to synthesize, and to characterize new functional nanomaterials with controllable sizes, shapes, and/or structures. Nanomaterials is a progressively important area of fundamental research and commercial development in catalysis for sustainable environment. Generally, nanomaterials are atomic or molecular scale, size of 1-100 nm enhanced the
catalytic properties towards several sustainable applications. NANO-SA-2020 covers the topics in critical areas, where nanotechnology can achieve major breakthroughs and promote the advancement and application of scientific research related to benign methodology for design nanomaterials, implementation of sustainable nanotechnology for the environment, health, and safety, and the use of nanotechnology in catalytic and sustainable future applications. NANO-SA-2020 is an interdisciplinary platform for the undergraduates, postgraduates, PhD students and researchers to gain knowledge about the current aspects in the field of advanced nanomaterials and sustainable technologies for greener future. This conference gives two days of incredible talks on on-going headways, new methodologies, and new procedures for the advancement of the latest nanomaterials for worldwide necessities.
